Warranty and After Care

Curing Period:

Icon Rocklear is not fully cured until 30 days after application, during this period:​

  • Do not wash at all until 7 days after coating is applied

  • Only Use Brushless or Touchless washes during this time

  • Absolutely ZERO wiping or dusting the paint during this time

  • Keep contaminants off of the paint, such as: Fuel, Solvents, Overspray, Hard Water, Sap, etc. (Please note, these can and will be removed under warranty, however only after the paint is fully cured)

  • No waxes or polishes during this time

After Care:

For best results and to keep the car scratch free:

  • Hand Wash the car using car soap (brand doesn't matter, avoid additives like "wash n' wax" or "ceramic infused

  • ​Only use microfiber towels on the paint for washing or drying​

  • Utilize Touchless or Brushless tunnel washes only if you will not be hand washing your vehicle

Things To Avoid:

  • Only using drive-thru brush car washes - this WILL scratch the paintwork and WILL be visible on darker colored vehicles

  • Polishing the paint - not knowing how to polish ICON may result in the removal of the coating

  • Waxing the paint - ICON does not allow certain compounds to bond in liquid or paste form, furthermore, wax is not necessary with ICON ever

Warranty Coverages

Detail City Las Vegas Guarantees the following for 15yrs:

  • ICON ROCKLEAR will NOT delaminate, flake, fade, yellow, peel or crack off of your paint.

  • ICON ROCKLEAR will remain glossy and easy to clean

  • ICON ROCKLEAR will remain scratch and chip resistant (be advised, ICON ROCKLEAR nor any other product can be completely scratch or chip PROOF)

  • Installation will be perfect when possible and any installer errors fixed

  • Vehicle paint will not fade

Detail City Las Vegas will aid with the following under warranty:

  • Deep scratch or scuff repair

  • Paint transfer removal

  • Touch-up paint installation - You bring the paint

  • Water Spot or Bird Drop Stain removal - PLEASE NOTE, the ability to remove these contaminants completely depends on how soon they are taken care of, call us as soon as the staining occurs. Full-body water spot removal is not fully covered, but can be fixed at a discounted rate.

What's Not Covered Under Warranty:

  • Damage caused by other detailers

  • Full-body swirl marks or scratches

  • Scratches incurred during the curing process due to failure to follow the directions above

  • Repainted panels

  • Re-installation of ICON ROCKLEAR after body work has been completed

  • Failure of product on aftermarket parts
